The following is a release by the United States Geological Survey, National Earthquake Information Center: A strong earthquake occurred about 65 km (40 miles) W of Baubau, Sulawesi, Indonesia at 5:04 PM MST, Feb 18, 2005 (Feb 19 at 8:04 AM local time in Indonesia). The magnitude and location may be revised when additional data and further analysis results are available. There have been no reports of damage.
