The following is a release by the United States Geological Survey, National Earthquake Information Center: An earthquake occurred 70 km (40 miles) SSE of Kira Kira, San Cristobal, Solomon Isl. 295 km (185 miles) SE of HONIARA, Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands at 4:50 AM MST, Nov 27, 2007 (10:50 PM local time in Solomon Islands). The magnitude and location may be revised when additional data and further analysis results are available.
65 km (40 miles) SSE of Kira Kira.
