The following is a release by the United States Geological Survey, National Earthquake Information Center: An earthquake occurred 315 km (195 miles) WNW of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, Russia 410 km (255 miles) NNW of Severo-Kuril'sk, Kuril Islands, Russia at 2:02 AM MST, Nov 24, 2008 (8:02 PM local time in Russia). The magnitude and location may be revised when additional data and further analysis results are available. There have been no reports of damage.
Felt at Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy.
