The following is a release by the United States Geological Survey, National Earthquake Information Center: An earthquake occurred 100 km (65 miles) N of SUVA, Viti Levu, Fiji 135 km (85 miles) SW of Lambasa, Vanua Levu, Fiji at 4:44 AM MDT, Nov 9, 2009 (10:44 PM local time in Fiji). The magnitude and location may be revised when additional data and further analysis results are available. There have been no reports of damage.
