The following is a release by the United States Geological Survey, National Earthquake Information Center: An earthquake occurred 120 km (75 miles) WSW of Oaxaca, Oaxaca, Mexico 145 km (90 miles) S of Huajuapan de Leon, Oaxaca, Mexico 160 km (100 miles) NW of Puerto Angel, Oaxaca, Mexico at 1:22 AM MDT, Jun 30, 2010 (2:22 AM CDT in Mexico). The magnitude and location may be revised when additional data and further analysis results are available. No reports of damage or casualties have been received at this time. Additional information about this earthquake can be obtained from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (National Autonomous University of Mexico) in Mexico City (52-55-622-4126).
