The following is a release by the United States Geological Survey, National Earthquake Information Center: An earthquake occurred 30 km (20 miles) ENE of Jackson, Wyoming at 6:04 PM MDT, Aug 4, 2010 (6:04 PM MDT in Wyoming). The magnitude and location may be revised when additional data and further analysis results are available. The earthquake has been felt in much of northwestern Wyoming and in parts of eastern Idaho. No damage is expected.
