The following is a release by the United States Geological Survey, National Earthquake Information Center: An earthquake occurred about 105 km (65 miles) NNW of Dobo, Kepulauan Aru or 310 km (195 miles) WSW of Enarotali, Papua, Indonesia at 11:10 AM MDT, Sep 29, 2010 (Sep 30 at 2:10 AM local time in Indonesia). The magnitude and location may be revised when additional data and further analysis results are available. No reports of damage or casualties have been received at this time; however, this earthquake may have caused damage due to its location and size.
